Make sure you try on Triumph pants. I am 5'10", and 170 lbs. I run a fair amount (and smoke, nice contrast ehh?) I wear a sz 32 Levis 501. In some lower rise pants I wear a 31 or even 30. I usually need a belt to hold up a 33 in most jeans. So, I ordered a sz 32 Tornado Jean thru my dealer...if they were leather and I wore them to a Cinderella concert then the fit would be acceptable! Otherwise, way too tight (not only in the waist but in the legs as well). The dealer had a sz 34 that came in for stock with my order...too tight as well! I could get away with them but foresaw some discomfort on long trips in that sitting position. So I ordered a sz36. Thanks for making me feel fat, Triumph!
Hey, the Triumph Jackets seem to fit fairly true. I just got rid of a JR Blaster jacket in a sz 44 for a Triumph Redline in a sz 42--the difference is about a size.
I bought the Explorer 2 pants recently, they seem pretty true to size. The dealer recommended one size larger and that's what I ordered, they fit good at waist and are great all around with the quilted lining in them. Take it out and they're a bit baggy, almost room for another set of hip pads. But I will probably leave the lining in for the most part, I bought em for the cold! They work very well, I lost 5 pounds sweating before I could get outside.
