It helped a lot, thanks ;D Saving money is always a pleasure.
Great deal! I purchased one as well, already accounted for over at 675.net
Why are you guys not using the free tune ecu?
there is a free tune ecu program?

please give us details
Really, i cant believe you guys don't know about it.

Just as luck would have it, the site is down at the moment. The url is: http://www.tuneecu.com/

I have not used tuneboy, however this has pretty much every function you could need including diagnostics, all you need to buy is a $10 EOBD lead from ebay.

PM Racecomp and tell 'im all about it.........
I bought my tuneecu from Prince Joe Houle.
I do hope i havent opened a can of worms here, i dont know the history of Tune ECU perhaps it was sold at one point, but it is most certainly free now. I have only had my Speed Triple for three months so am new to the whole scene. You do need a EOBD cable, but they are cheap on eBay and the site recommends a few types.

The site is back up now: http://www.tuneecu.com/

I have used it with great sucsess, but i do have a fair ammount of tuning/mapping experience. I dont think it would be hard for a newcommer with a basic understanding of engineering and engine managment to work out and it is easy for the complete novice just to upload a new map.

The other site i use (Triumph RAT) have a whole section and and a help thread for people needing advice.

Don't let them fool ya. They all know about it. There is an ongoing feud between Tuneboy and TuneECU. Some here are very loyal Tuneboy fans who feel TuneECU has ripped Tuneboy off. Others close to TuneECU deny this. I have no idea whether its true or not. Could just be capitalistic competition, and that lowers prices. ;D

That's all I know.

Almost. Most who dont like it have not seen or ridden one in person. I don't care for it because it used to be so unique amongst the countless cookie cutter bikes out there. Now it just blends in with the rest of them. JMO.

I'm in love with the look of my 06. Frame, motor and headlights is all you see. :lh:

I hear the 2011 is a damn fine bike still.
