Post up your Tuneboy tunes here. You'll probably need to host your files yourselves and link unless you send it to me to host on getnekkid.net.

I am trying to kick off this section with an upload of a tuneboy file whiich is 231 kb, more than the allowed 128kb. If you can change this limit to 300k, we should hopefully have a few tunes in this section.
Just shoot me the file via email and I'll host it on getnekkid in a tuneboy folder.

There are no tunes on this site for 2000 model bikes - no one has provided them YET.

t595.net has a couple of tunes that MIGHT work for your bike, but nothing specificly for the Micron exhaust.
Glad I got one of these! It seems I've been riding around with the 20101 tune (Standard Exhaust w/out cat & SAI.) YAY knowledgeable dealer!

Goodness Sakes Alive, I bet my bike's going to feel different this spring.

You have no idea. Ask Cheap what he thinks of the new tune. ;D

It isn't just the top end power that improves, it is the wonderfull midrange.

And with the header work.... :smitty:
all I'm gonna say is... :shocker: :wtf: :shocker:

;D
I already have the pre-cat out, and going off of your lovely pictures, I'm going to play with port matching etc...

I would have this thing back together by now, if my dealer didn't have to order header gaskets from England.
Strange, most dealers keep the header gaskets in stock - they are cheap. But then again, not many Triumphs in AK.

Next time you need parts, try calling a couple of other dealers in the NW region, and have them ship them to you.
If I was in a hurry I would, otherwise these guys are usually on the ball. Plus all of them are really nice.
Did the photos of the header flange help? Do you need more info or clarification?

Sometimes I take things for granted, and could explain better.
I think I got it between the pictures and your previous post explaining it. I just hope I don't remove too much material from the sides and screw up the seal. Baby steps I guess.
That is the issue with the sides and bottom - you need to keep enough material to keep the header flange sealed against the head. I will say that the copper crush washer design that thiumph uses is pretty good - as long as you don't go too far when grinding.

I guessed that most would have them in stock as well, called 4 different dealers who didn't though.
I guess for many, these need to be ordered BEFORE starting work on the header. I need to order a few gaskets ASAP so I can put my engine back together in a couple of weeks.
Hey Devious
Why doesnt Wayne put the dyno tunes on his website for downloading? Are these tunes risky or havent been tested enough?

:smitty:
I asked Wayne that same question. He replied along the lines that it had too much chance of liability issues. He has done the same thing for the Daytonas.

I really can't say I blame him. If someone was to screw up their bike by playing with the tune, they could simply put in his tune and say that the tuned caused the problem, and that it is HIS fault.
Is there any aftermarket options for gaskets? I hate the idea of having to order new gaskets from the dealer everytime unscrew something on the bike. They're not too cheap either :(
