Well, I feel a bit....

confused about now. How does one hold up the front end of the Speedy in order to remove the darned wheel and tire? All of the stands I have seen rely on the axle to hold things up.....which I need to remove obviously. Am I just looking at the wrong stands? I'll be needing a set of tires in the next month or so and would like to be able to do it myself, just haven't seen the right equipment yet.

What're y'all using?

I just wrap a strap around the head and hold it up with a hoist.

Crude, but it works. :D
I strap a passenger to the front forks, take off wheelying while they remove the front wheel, unstrap the bastard while they go git my tire put on, they then have to catch me, jump back on the wheelying speedy, and install the wheel. :twofinger:
I set the fork legs on a couple of jack stands with shop towels in between. There are front stands that pick up under the fork legs.

That was actually the way I was leaning, but lately I've felt the need for refinement in my life. (insert joke here)

Yep, looks like I'll be hoisting it from above or making a stand myself. I just can't bring myself to pay for that.
Once you got it, you'd wonder how you got along without it! Seriously, they are worth the cash, just for ease of wheel removal.

That's the one to get, sturdier, and for only $15 more, you'll have a stand that you can remover your forks with too.

+1 to the Pitbull. I bought one at CycleGear. Works great.
