$1000+ for slip-on silencers sounds very high. If you really like the look, that is one thing. But for a quick compairson, Zard USA is offering (limited time) the FULL system for USD $980 - including header and a single, low mount silencer. I am not interested in the Zard full system, but it is a much better deal compared to what your have mentioned.APtech77 said:From what I have read so far.....with the right tuning these slip-ons can get you about a 6-7hp bump.....
You should expect the average slip-ons (including TORS) to make 5 hp without specialized tuning, and the half systems with midpipes add a couple more MAX, and another 5-7 hp with good Tuneboy tuning.
It is not until you do some header work that the differences between the silencers and half systems will start to make a real difference.
Something to think about.
