Where the hell do you buy battery acid?

I'm looking at buying the Caswell plating kit since they lowered the price, but the battery acid isn't included.

Anyone know who would sell that stuff?

If your not beyond stealing just go to wal-mart and take a few charger kits outta the new batteries...
Looks like Caswell recommends NAPA. Guess I'll call around to local auto shops and see if they've got it. I DO have a Super Walmart right down the road though...
Figure I could save myself a small lump of cash anodizing my own stuff, like SAI plates and triple clamps. My buddy in Houston is looking at my GSXR triple to see what he might be able to do. I'd love to have one with a celtic knotwork design machined into it. If I can get the money saved up, I might have a shop rip out a bunch of 1050 and 955 Speed Triple/Daytona triple clamps.

If thats the the case, I'd be interested in one.
Kuhlka,

Check the yellow pages for a battery shop.

I lucked out there was one 2 blocks from my house, and they sell acid for $10/gal. :drink:

Same here, black anodized okay, thanks... ;D
Check the phone book for battery repair shops or companies that build batteries for electric golf carts and forklifts. They will sell acid to you cheap.
Hang out downtown on a street corner for awhile. Someone will come along with some blotter that will make much more intense colors than battery acid.

spent a few days in the park talkin' to clouds, have we?
What kind of price do you think would be good for triple clamps? Gotta talk this up to my friend to get him interested.
