Well, finally got somewhat decent out here in minnesota. Went to the dealership, took the Honda 919 out for a test drive, gave them cash, and walked out the door. It's definitely a fun ride. I hit 130 like nothing when I merged into the highway. I thought my fingers were gonna fall off though even with my leather gloves on. I think it's about 35F outside right now. It's sucks because it's supposed to rain and snow all week now. I just wanna go riding all day dammit! Just ordered a fender eliminator and a clear tail light with integrated turn signals. It should be here before the weekend so that will at least give me some time with the bike. I'll get some pictures up once it's nice out and my helmet comes in.

Yea, it's a great feeling. The only thing I don't like is it just doesn't have anywhere near the punch that speedy has when you're in 6th gear at 60mph. There's still no need to downshit, but it's not exactly a rocket when I roll on the gas.

I think the 919 is my favorite Japanese naked. Honda is the only one that comes close to getting it. I wish it had a stubbier rear section--something the S3, Buell, and SuperDuke got right. The Kawi Z1000 is still trying too look sleek, rather than brute, the same with the Yamaha FZ1. The Suzuki SV's aren't too bad, but very very common (at least around here.)

If course I haven't ridden on any so I can't speak to performance, but the 919 looks nice, especially in that metallic red.

I'm getting the titanium Sato pipes with a PCIII. Gotta wait a month though and save up some money since that's gonna cost me a grand:( It will sound mean as hell though once they're on :twofinger:
