As much as I hate it, I have to agree with CB. Catahoula has done a GREAT job. And due to his work, we can swap lies and share tricks and tips. THIS is what more forums should be like.

I like the fact that the site is picking up more members, but I also like the smaller community feel here. More content, and less BS.

The site is set up to make it easy to find what you want.

I just checked the stats for 2007.
35 new members (-2 for the ones Cata and I started to work out some kinks)
Around 550 posts. (- all mine that are tech BS)

And the site was down for a few days.

NICE WORK!

Side note:
I am going to keep most of my future tech BS on this site. Other sites are hard to search and stuff gets burried quickly. I get frustrated saying the same things over and over. AND I'm lazy - it's easier to post stuff once.

I just noticed that the symbol for my bookmark has changed again. It was black with a solid T. Now it is grey, with an outlined T.

I have to agree with Devious, I find myself spending more time here than trat. I like the level of tech info and everyone seems to get along well, without so much of the "oh you hurt my feelings by hating on (fill in the blank)". Speak your mind and go on I say. I have to be a bit PC at work, don't need it in my personal time.

I'll join here too. I like the format of the site the software seems to work well (except for the flash problem) and it does have a community feel to it. :wave: I described it in a posting on TRAT as a gathering of bikers in a pub and just hanging out, of course you're going to have tech talk in the crowd but the conversation will switch from one topic to another very quickly with a few laughs in between.

I hope the search function here works better than TRAT so we don't bother the holder of the knowledge here too much by asking them to repeat the info. :horse:
