your opinion: what color levers?

1553 Views 15 Replies 10 Participants Last post by  Little Cat
thinking about picking up some pazzos or the like but can't decide what color to go with. my top three choices (in no particular order) are gold, natural (silver), and black.

the bike is a white '06 with a CF hugger, chain guard, heel guard, silver rizoma mirrors, white belly pan, white seat cowl, and polished cans.

your opinions?

Black with gold or natural adjusters in my opinion.

I have the shorty gold ones thinking they match the forks but they don't. They still look good though. If you don't want too much black on your bike I say get the blue or the gold.

But definitely get them, they rock.
Black with blue adjusters would look cool, the blue would match the Triumph decals on the tank. Someones selling some Long Pazzo's on TRAT for $140

Black of course, silly. :violent1:
hmmm, didn't even realize there are 2 different lengths. just courious, is the pulling effort emphasized with the short lever (harder pull)?

thanks for the color suggestions guys! keep 'em coming
I got black shorties with gold adjusters......they look good. I didn't notice any difference in the effort required to pull them in, compared to stock

Black with silver adjusters!!! I've got the long ones and they are not much different then stock in length. You never know if you need to grab a handfull of break lever in a pinch. You could always go with a short clutch and long break lever. ;D
I have the shorties, and I can definitely stop well in a hurry. I normally use 2 fingers on the brake lever, but all will fit IF I need them to. Due to the angle of the levers, it FEELS like I need less pressure than with stock levers.

Now that I have GSXR calipers and master cylinder with EBC HH pads, I can actually stop too well.

As for color or color combinations - do what YOU think looks best. Each of us has very personal ideas of what they like, and my idea of what looks great may be completely different from what you like. Get what YOU want, and forget about what anyone else thinks.
My "lever" is pretty short, but my wife can pull on it without any trouble. As for colour, once you black....

I can't believe I'm doing this, but +1 what limey said

Same here, with the stock levers I used all four fingers and thought I would need the longs. Since getting my pazzo's I now only use two on the brake.

Okay, Just FYI, Cata's T3 is hot! But if he could, I think he'd paint everything we own black! Black on black on black on black. Maybe he has a devious personality! ;D Mods to a bike are, of course, a personal opinion. I've never really seen to much though that made me think, "What the hell was he doing". So have fun, take advise, but go your own road!
