Hi all - I can't find the answer to this using the search-o-matic, but has anyone actually installed the Zard slip-on on an 02-04? If so, what tune did you/are you using? I have the TORS low mount carbon with TORS tune, and am switching over to the Zard. But I have a track day coming up and no tuneboy (yet). So since the change is irreversible (short of pulling the headers and rewelding), I'm hesitant to do it without knowing the TORS tune will work OK. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :smiley-asskiss:

And any hints on cutting the header? On bike or off? hacksaw or power?

Thanks

I've got a Zard coming for my '02, but it's not here yet. I'll let you know after I get it on. I think I've got access to a dyno so I'm going to try to get before and after runs.

I'm planning to start out with the TORS tune to start with.

I've got the full system on my 03, but the TOR tune should work just fine for the slip-on version. The TOR pipe for the 02-04 is just a straight through pipe like the Zard. Aside from that, I'd invest in a Tuneboy and take it to a shop to be dyno tuned.

Thanks Khulka - That's my long term plan, but work prevents me from doing it between now and the track day I have planned in early June. Trying to decide if I want to give it a go.......I'll post the results when I do it.
